Properties: The pure product is silver flake, relative density 1.18-1.12, melting point: (°C) 150-152℃. Soluble in acetone, benzene, toluene, chlorobenzene, ether, carbon disulfide and chloroform, slightly soluble in ethanol and gasoline, insoluble in water, green reaction with dilute hydrochloric acid in heat, react with nitric acid, sodium sulfite product grape red and muddy red, toxic.
Uses: mainly used for natural rubber and styrene butadiene, butyronitrile, polybutadiene, polyisoprene and other synthetic rubber, latex and polyvinyl chloride plastics. Commonly used in the manufacture of various tires and dark products and tread rubber.
