Properties: The pure 6PPD is a white solid, which will gradually oxidize to a brown solid when placed in the air. Industrial products are purple-brown to dark brown particles or flakes, which will slowly agglomerate when the temperature exceeds 35-40°C. Soluble in gasoline, benzene, acetone, ethyl acetate, dichloroethane, carbon tetrachloride, toluene, ethanol and other organic solvents, insoluble in water.
Uses: 6PPD is a p-phenylenediamine rubber anti-aging agent. It has good compatibility with rubber, is not easy to bloom, is not volatile, and has low toxicity. It has excellent antioxidant, ozone resistance, anti-flexion cracking, sun turtle Crack, has a strong inhibitory effect on harmful metals such as copper and manganese, and is suitable for all kinds of synthetic rubber and natural rubber. It has good dispersibility in the rubber compound, softens the rubber compound, and has little effect on vulcanization. It can be used for various rubber products such as tires, and also as a thermal oxygen stabilizer for polyethylene, polypropylene and acrylic resins.
