Usage:
1 Used as a raw material for the preparation of polymer organosilicon compounds.
2 can be used as a crosslinking agent for silicone resin, and can also be used as a raw material for phenyl silicone oil and silicone rubber. Phenyltrimethoxysilane is a single molecular chemical that reacts with water to form silanol and methanol. After hydrolysis, a reactive silanol is formed, which can be condensed with other silanol groups (for example, silanol groups on the surface of the silica filler) to form a siloxane chain.
3 Silicone condensation products can be stably formed on other oxides such as aluminum, zirconium, tin, titanium, nickel, and are more stable than the oxides of boron, iron and carbon, and cannot be formed on the surface of alkali metal oxides and carbonates. Moisture in the air or on the surface of the substrate may be sufficient to ensure hydrolysis, but in some cases, water may also be needed to increase the degree of hydrolysis.
