Properties: Dark green powder with a density of 1.26g/cm3. Melting point is above 86℃. The flash point is 263℃. Soluble in chloroform, benzene, carbon disulfide, slightly soluble in acetone, insoluble in water. Good storage stability. Toxic and irritating to the skin. Steam and dust are harmful to humans.
Uses: rubber or plastic antioxidant. Mainly used in synthetic rubber such as styrene-butadiene, chloroprene, chlorosulfonated polyethylene, etc., to prevent the rubber from cracking caused by sunlight and ozone, and to improve the heat resistance of chloroprene rubber and chlorosulfonated polyethylene. Used as light stabilizer and anti-ozonant for polymer materials in the plastic industry. Used in polypropylene fiber, film and narrow band, it has a very good light stabilizing effect, but makes the product yellowish green. The general dosage is 0.3~0.5%.
